1)  First Aid Day.  See link (First Aid Event) and please contact Mr. Pike at emery@daddythunder.com if you have questions.

2) Piedmont District Advancement Camporee (PDAC) formerly known as EXPO has moved its dates due to a required venue change. It is moving to Camp Merriwood in Clemmons (www.campmerriwood.net) (good news). The new dates are 5/8-10 (bad news).

3) Adult training- several opportunities coming up. please email me and I will provide dates.

5) We are in the process of fine-tuning the April canoe trip to FL. If you are thinking you might want to go to Philmont in 2010, you should seriously be considering this trip. It is also one of the most fun trips that we do anywhere. We are still open to modifying the itinerary to whatever you (boys) want. See me Monday with questions. Let's get signed up!

REMINDER

This Saturday, March 21 at 9:00 am please meet in front of the church to help
spread mulch.

Mt. Tabor UMC allows our scout troop to meet at this awesome facility, so
let's show our appreciation by helping beautify the church groups.
Recommend you wear gloves, wear an old scout shirt (show your scout pride) and
bring a pitchfork, if available. Members of the church will be on hand to
provide direction.  We should be finished no later than 12:00 noon.

Thanks for your support!   Hope to see you Saturday!

RAVENS

The totem chip teaches knife, saw, and ax saftey.  This is a requirement for the boys to use a knife.  Most of the boys earned it at the Mt. Morrow camp out.  Mr. Wiley has offered to teach a make up session at the church at 10:00 am on Saturday.  It should take about an hour.  If you didn't go to the camp out and want to take advantage of this session, please RSVP as soon as possible.
